Flinter starts conventional service to Libya

Date: 15/09/2010

Shipping company Flinter started a conventional service between Antwerp and Libya in August. The service will call at the ports of Misurata and El Khoms. Other Libyan ports may be called if sufficient cargo is offered.

The service might be possibly extended to other neighbouring countries, such as Morocco, Algeria or Tunisia, subject to inducement of cargo. Flinter already acquired a first contract for 4000 till 6000 tonnes per sailing. The frequency of the new service is two sailings per month. The vessels are handled at the ABES terminal.
